About Hewn Works

Hewn Works was founded by multi-disciplinary designers Harri Lewis and Jack Munro. Their experience ranges from product design and art installations to complex timber structures and educating the next generation of designers.

With Hewn Works they lead a collective of designers who seek to make the abstract tangible, obsessed with the ephemeral facets of life that hold deep emotional significance for us all. Hewn Records is the result of the team exploring processes that give music a physical presence; they are the first Hewn Works sculptures available to the public. 

In 2016 Harri and Jack founded the award-winning design agency Mule Studio, which comprises industrial design, spatial design and computational design teams. A combination of simplicity and innovation is central to their process for creating exquisite designs.
